1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of tiling and related services by BMF Tiling Ltd ("the Company") to its customers ("the Client"). By accepting a quotation or instructing the Company to commence work, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations

- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

- Quotations are based on information provided by the Client and may be revised if additional work is required.

- Any changes requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges.

3. Deposits and Payments

- A deposit may be required before work commences.

- Payment schedules will be detailed in the quotation or invoice.

- Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- Late payments may be subject to interest and recovery costs permitted by law.

4. Client Responsibilities

The Client shall:

- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.

- Ensure utilities such as water and electricity are available where required.

- Remove personal belongings and valuables from the work area.

- Obtain any permissions, approvals or consents required from landlords, management companies or local authorities.

5. Materials

- Unless otherwise agreed, the Client is responsible for selecting and approving tiles and materials.

- The Company is not responsible for manufacturing defects in tiles or materials supplied by third parties.

- Tile shade, size and pattern variations are normal characteristics of many products.

6. Additional Work

Any work not included in the original quotation shall be treated as additional work and charged separately.

7. Delays

The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by material shortages, supplier delays, adverse weather conditions, unforeseen site conditions or events beyond the Company's reasonable control.

8. Workmanship Guarantee

The Company warrants its workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion of the work.

This warranty does not cover:

- Normal wear and tear.

- Structural movement.

- Water ingress caused by defects outside the Company's work.

- Damage caused by misuse, impact or improper maintenance.

- Defective materials supplied by third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Company's liability shall be limited to the value of the work carried out by the Company. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or economic losses.

10. Cancellations

- The Client may cancel work before commencement by providing written notice.

- Any costs incurred prior to cancellation may be deducted from any refundable deposit.

- Deposits for specially ordered materials may be non-refundable.

11. Complaints

Any concerns regarding the work should be notified to the Company in writing within 14 days of completion. The Company shall be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify any issues.

12. Privacy

The Company will process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
