Instant estimate is indicative and based on your selections (wall type, wall area, ply lining for internal walls, and site access/parking).
Displayed prices are inclusive of labour and standard materials appropriate to the selected wall type.
Final price depends on site survey, construction details and any required approvals/compliance.
Wall build-ups, finishes and performance requirements (acoustic, fire, moisture resistance) must be confirmed before works commence.
If site conditions differ materially from your selections, any adjustment is agreed before starting.

Wall types — sqm pricing (dropdown)

External and internal wall types are selected from the dropdown with a shown £/m² rate.
Wall area is calculated from the slider in m² (0–25 in 0.5 steps).

Rates include labour and materials and reflect mid-range London contractor pricing.

Core calculation

Base cost = Wall area (m²) × selected wall type rate (£/m²)
If both external and internal wall items are present, totals are added together before uplifts.

Calculator outputs are indicative and exclude specialist details unless stated.

Internal walls — ply lining uplift

Ply lining can be selected for internal walls only.
Applied as a simple uplift of +20% (multiplier 1.2) to the internal wall subtotal.
Typical use: improved fixing strength for kitchens, utilities, wardrobes and heavy wall-mounted items.

Ply lining is an allowance for fixing strength; decorative finishes remain excluded unless agreed.

Site access & parking uplift

Easy (standard pricing): +0%
Restricted access (narrow side access / limited working space / paid parking): +10%
Very restricted (through-house / tight / manual handling / paid parking): +20%

Applied once to the overall total to reflect logistics, handling and time impacts.

Worked example

External wall: 12.5m² × £400/m² = £5,000
Internal wall: 7.5m² × £120/m² = £900
Ply lining (internal only, +20%): £900 × 1.2 = £1,080
Subtotal: £5,000 + £1,080 = £6,080
Restricted access (+10%): £6,080 × 1.1 = £6,688

Minimum charges (where applicable)

Very small wall areas may be subject to a minimum charge to cover setup, handling and waste.
If a minimum applies, it will be confirmed prior to booking or commencement.

Minimums vary depending on scope, access and whether works are standalone or part of a wider project.

Estimates assume typical London residential conditions. Restricted access, paid parking requirements, or unknown structure/services may require a site visit before final confirmation.
